Putting Time back into our family....

It has been a long time coming but after much thought and prayer Kenny and I decided we needed to be spending more time as a family. In the Ensign for February it said " Busy schedules and the demands of life can make it difficult to actively decide how you want to live and respond to the needs and demands of your family. This means that circumstance, other people or old habits can dictate how you respond to a given situation rather than deciding how you will act." Kenny and I decided that with our callings, school, and work we were running into major scheduling problems. We had a total of 2 nights in which we actually got to spend just as our little family. We have decided to make that 5 nights now and we have been reaping the fun that comes with getting to know our little ones better. They are funny!

Tyler and his Gotee.

Zach and his fabulous playdoe creation, a flat pancake.

Our very first FHE just our little family....the dessert we made...tyler and I....cherry cheesecakes.

And of course the Spagetti and Meatballs! I need time to perfect the meatball recipe! My grandma made the best meatballs ever.

This is a picture of the car bin that I clean up 7-8 times per day and the culprit behind the mess.

And this is of course the picture of the man I love...he rocks...its been fun being married to him for almost 6 years!

Mmmm. Cheesecake. I was actually craving that last night when I was grocery shopping and I forgot by the time I got home. Thanks for the reminder, I'll have to go make some. I have been so grateful that we were 'forced' to spend time together b/c of Ethan. We are such a close family now. I know your family will become closer than you ever thought possible if you continue to spend your evenings together. It is hard to push away other priorities, but it is well worth it!
