Bike riding...My boy is growing up
Tyler loves to watch Zach ride! He couldn't stop laughing.
After 15 minutes of practice in Kenny's parents backyard and much determination he thinks he is a pro.
Tyler was determined to ride as well as his brother!

The last few days these little rascals have really been independent. I am so not used to that! Zach started riding his bike without training wheels and had it down with 15 minutes of practice, now he rides circles around me and Tyler has always been the type to do his own thing. We love them both greatly!

Valentine's Day
I had to work on Valentine's day this year. It was my last day of Clinicals at the VA. When I got home This was waiting for me.
Then we went to the park and played for a while. Tyler was sick again so Kenny took him with him to the store and Zach met up with a friend that was there from church. We stayed til the sun almost went down and then we came home. When we got home we put the kids to bed. We then had a homemade costa vida dinner with Pico De Gallo complete with candle light....then Kenny had to go work at Regency. It was a fun night and hey there is one good thing for Kenny working at a Wedding reception place on Valentine's night. I'm not a huge fresh flowers fan but these were absolutely gorgeous!
Then we went to the park and played for a while. Tyler was sick again so Kenny took him with him to the store and Zach met up with a friend that was there from church. We stayed til the sun almost went down and then we came home. When we got home we put the kids to bed. We then had a homemade costa vida dinner with Pico De Gallo complete with candle light....then Kenny had to go work at Regency. It was a fun night and hey there is one good thing for Kenny working at a Wedding reception place on Valentine's night. This picture was Taken in April of 2004. My mother in law really wanted professional pictures taken of us for display in our house. It was a while after we were married and I am actually 4 months pregnant with our first son. I was just glad to still get my wedding dress on. Man, we look young.

She did not duck the artificial bread. I was the third party present. The barrage of comments back and forth was incredible. Then I heard a thump when she hit the floor. Then silence. The whole time I KEPT EATING MY MEAL LIKE A SCARED CONVICT. The things I have learned....Never get involved in a land war in Asia, never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line, and never step between two women having a heated discussion. The first two I learned from watching Princess Bride.
Oh yes...I forgot. The coins...there were two people involved...her and her brother. Several hundred of dollars of silver dollars.Even with the things Alana has mentioned...She is probably the most special daughter Anita and I could ever have dreamed of.The things she did not write about-
1. She is the most faithful person besides Anita I have ever seen. She stuck with us through some really rough times.
2. People seem to enjoy being mean to her. They love telling her what to do and try to belittle her. She is a lot more patient than her old man (me).
3. She is one of the smartest people I have ever met.
4. She is one of the most headstrong people I know...and she can accomplish anything.
5. She is one of the most beautiful people in my life. I thank God I have them in my life.
6. She married the perfect mate. Kenny is the greatest guy...and he is VERY patient sometimes! They love each other and their children so much.
7. She loves people. When she says she is your friend..believe it. It is not a tag she gives everyone.
8. She is SO grounded for the shaving cream incident!Happy Birthday my baby, my friend.Love-Dad

Happy Birthday to me!
In 1.5 hrs I will officially be 26 years old. What are somewhat funny and cool things have I accomplished in 26 years?
1.) Growing up I managed to fly through windows and hang off of items that probably shouldn't be hung on.
2.) I ate a dirt taco once when my brother dared me to do it....dirt and leaves baby!
3.) I helped my brother light off a rocket in his bedroom in North Dakota once....sorry Dad!
4.) I managed to duck from a flying piece of artificial bread that could have been lethal when I was a teenager....yes I was talking back!
5.) I once punched my husband in my sleep. I wasn't sure if his head was on the pillow...hmm I wonder what I was dreaming about.
6.) I tried to hide a nintendo watch in my pants on my way to school when I was younger....I thought it would be a cool new fad.
7.) I never could put my clothes on in the correct direction....in Marching band trying on uniforms I managed to put it on backwards...oops.
8.) Everytime someone mentions ducktales I have to say whooo hooo at the end.
9.) I married a wonderful man after much prayer and inspiration.
10.) I have 2 adorable children who challenge me and make me stronger as a person.
11.) I have probably said I am sorry over a billion times in my life time even if I was never wrong.
12.) I hiked Angel's Landings in Utah and made it to the very top and then worried over everyone in the family that might get hurt taking strange, daring pictures.
13.) I won a script writing contest in High School for the Martin Luther King Jr. celebration.
14.) I will be graduating from nursing school in May, Phi Theta Kappa and part of their Honor's program.
15.) I have two best friends...one my husband and the other....well I call her daily.
16.) I cried the first two semesters of nursing school because the people in my class were brutal....I feel stronger because of them now...now I actually like them, most of the time.
17.) I always feel like an odd duck....I constantly wonder what people think of me....Im learning not to care.
18.) Im a woman and I only own 3 pairs of shoes...but I am working on that tomorrow!
19.) I played the clarinet in high school and was always excited to get first chair. There was always one girl that battled me back and forth.
20.) I have managed to successfully survive church sports...even though my playing is absolutely dreadful.
21.) When I was younger I could not pronounce fork I said f@$%! Good thing I accomplished saying spoon.
22.) When I was younger and not smart I took money from my dad's coin collection to use at 7 eleven. NOT SMART!
23.) I have been in only one car accident....I hit the fire hydrant outside my house.
24.) I got caught as a teen shaving creaming my own apartment....yeah not very wise again.
25.) I have an amazing family in my home.
26.) I have been blessed with a family who loves me, a home to dwell in and numerous spiritual blessings... I think I have accomplished a lot.

Severe senioritis!
So...I have a little over 3 months until I graduate on May 16th. Parties are planned with friends....tests will be taken...Im not really worried at all. I just find it hard to believe that as fast as time flies with my children growing up....this time seems to be dragging. I am way excited. My school work will end March 30th...I wont have anymore careplans, quizzes, tests(besides the big one) and all I will have to do is work.
I got my preceptorship. I get to work Pediatrics at Maricopa Couty Hospital....whoo hoo....of course it is nights and I might be exhausted but to get to actually work in the field I want to go into is way cool.
Kenny's grandpa asked me if there is ever a time where I think I wont have to work? The truth of the matter is I choose to stay at home with my children and work part time at night when they are sleeping or at least close to go to bed. This job is more to me then the money. I have always loved to help people. Kenny has always been able to provide for our family and we have both agreed that this job is not about the money. I love to help people. I was inspired by my Father in Heaven to go to school for this degree. Things have been hard but he has always provided a way for me to achieve it. So I answered his grandpa's question with Honesty....I don't have to work now....I choose to its more of a service to me then a way to make money....to be that will just be an added benefit. I know that my life will be truly blessed by being a nurse...I will finally get to do what I have always wanted to do.

Go to sleep....
At 10pm we heard crying and then we came out to find this. Tyler woke up and decided he would rather sleep on the couch.
I am a firm believer that this couch was a wonderful investment. LOL.
