Wonderful Sunday Moment

Yes those are my curtains! I was about to yell at him but then I thought my son is crazy I my as well laugh about it. So Kenny took a few pictures.... and here we go.Just your average Sunday Morning in the Parker Home.

10 months old today!!!!

Tyler is 10 months old today. How crazy is that. He is such an amazing baby. Always so bubbly. Never really complains.
He loves to eat, push around his Winnie the Pooh car and play with Zachary in the bath tub.
He is such a light in our house. Always making us laugh and entertaining us.

A week almost worth forgetting

This week was the start of my nursing program. Before it even began let me list the possible bad "omens" that occured that made me question my decision. Not to be worried though its totally worth all the trouble to have this degree.

First- babysitter stuck in Utah (Still stuck in Utah)

Second-couldn't find essential shot records that I had a month ago. (Found them thankfully, next time I will follow that wonderful voice that told me in advance to look for them).

Third- Zach becomes ill the day before school starts. Ends up having Bronchitis and an ear infection in both ears.

Fourth- Tyler becomes ill (Croup).

Four very stressful situations. However, as I was studying during naptime Tyler woke up ready to play. I threw this ball a couple times and he would roll it back. I just kept trying to be focused on my book. Finally, I realized I hadn't heard from Tyler. I look up and he is staring at the book blankly wondering whats so amazing. I then gave him my highlighter. He used it as A HAIR TANGLER. MY HAIR MIGHT I ADD! If you can tell he is not the healthiest baby at this moment. But at least I got him to smile. He will invent new uses for highlighters before this program is done.

Things I learned this week:

Homemade Crockpot stroganoff amazing for 3-4 meals. Change it up between serving over noodles and rice. Yummy.

Germs are everywhere, I need to go clean my bathroom.

Getting to school an hour early gives you much needed study time.

Adjust side mirrors before merging onto the freeway.

These are Only a few of the crazy things I have learned.

Last week before school starts.

So its my last week before school starts. I have been so busy trying to get ready and get the boys ready for this little life change and I thought I was tired. I guess I wasn't the only one. Zach never just takes naps on his own. Usually we have to read books first and have his dog and a blanket by his side....but I think he is just utterly exhausted.

Doctor was Right...

We went to the doctor today for Tyler's 9 month check up. All was well and the doctor said that I really need to cherish my time with these little boys. He said that some of the best times will be at their ages now. I thought that was funny. In my head I kept thinking of all the funny things my boys do. Tonight we had the priviledge to hang out with the Kriloff girls and when their mom came back she brought ice cream for us and a cone clown for Zach. Me being the amazing mom that I am, I let Zach have it....at 9 pm might I add. This was the result.

Christmas Lights Fun

We went to the lights this year and Zach was so excited. This was his brand new scarf my mom knitted for him.

Tyler was so siked he couldn't even keep his eyes open.

It was really pretty. Lots of light and such a gorgeous nativity.

Zach didn't really want to stand still but despite how cold it was daddy wanted a picture with Zach.

Christmas Time is Fun!

This is our tree. For the first time in a long time it was not pulled over this year. I was so excited.

Tyler does this half smile thing..... It cracks me up. He's been doing it since he was four months old. I think he has two smiles. One when he is happy.....and one that is the full out giggle and is just thrilled. Who knew that Zach would be so happy and proud that one of his presents was underwear. He likes Mickey Mouse and was so excited to get them. I got my child underwear. Is that crazy or what?

Zach got more cars for Christmas. That puts him well over 200.

2 children, 10 months apart + presents = fun chaos.

These are some of the trucks he got. He loves this one in particular.

I think stockings are the best! Zach loved the candy that came in them too.

I think the boys had fun this year. Between my family, Kenny's family, and our own little Christmas, it was non-stop fun. We are so blessed.
