Who is the Mess Maker?

I have just organized my entire house over school break because I was so tired of all the mess. Unfortunately, once I clean and organize one room someone goes in and messes it up... I finally caught the suspect in action. Im calling the clean police!

Time to celebrate? Maybe not!

My final was yesterday. I went in calm and collected. Took it and got an 89%! I was so siked! I am officially done with Block 3. Friday night we were battling with Tyler's Temperature again. We thought it was an ear infection. It was 102. When I woke up Saturday I just decided we would give him Tylenol and bring it down and then see where it was at when I got home from taking my Final. I get home ready to celebrate and I come home to find a screaming Tyler. I took his Temp and it was 102.6 I called the nurse and she said just do homecare until it gets to be 104 and then take him in. YEAH RIGHT! R U SERIOUS! ERRRRRRRRRR!
We waited a while longer and he was still screaming and upset and about 2 hours later after Tylenol he was 103.3 Kenny and I both were like we got to take him in. We get both kids in the car we are 2 minutes from our house on our way to Urgent care when Tyler goes into a full on seizure. In his car seat once again. Zach is screaming. I am trying to keep Tyler's tongue from fallng back into his throat because he was turning blue and Kenny is definately breaking the speed limit. We ended up taking him to Baywood ER. They took him right in after 1 terrible IV poke for blood, 3 straight caths, an EKG and 2 rectal temperatures of 103.9(104 my butt, nurse!) They came back 6 hrs later notifying us that he had a UTI. It is very uncommon for little boys to get them so he was treated with IV antibiotics. And I was told I had to take him to the doctor in 2 days. During all of this Kyle my amazing brother in law was watching Zach because he is traumatized by seeing this twice now. Kyle is incredible. Anyway, so we get home everything seems fine at 8pm so I had needed to go out and get their Christmas outfits for today. I went to JCPenney and then called Kenny. He tells me Tyler's fever is back up to 102.5 but he will be okay. ERRRRRR. So I go home, Kenny takes my mom home.....we give him 2 warm baths and I call my father in law to come help Kenny give him a blessing. At 10:30pm Tyler recieved his blessing. He then slept all night next to Kenny and his temperature has only been 100 all night.
I have much faith in priesthood blessings.I have much faith in a Heavenly Father who loves me because all this happened after my final. We were not at home, we were in the car on our way to get Tyler care and the whole time he kept me calm so that I could handle this not so wonderful situation once again.
Now I just have to figure out how to get Zach from freaking out. He keeps saying he is shaking...is he having a seizure? Over and over and over again. I hate seizures!

Temple Lights

I cant believe it is December already. I love the lights. Zach loved the company and Kenny and Tyler loved everything.

Tyler was just not interested in taking pictures....just too many people standing around. The kids enjoyed posing for the camera though.

Why I love Primary

I have been thinking a lot about Primary Lately. I love it! I love being able to hang out with the children and work hard. This was a picture of the last primary activity day. It seems to me that I am working a little too hard.....I hope it wasnt just primary kids pulling on the other end....oops it was oh well.....I lost.

This is Zach with his Best friend Maddie. I love it. They saw it as a challenge and they conquered it together. Maddie sometimes brings out the best in Zachary.

Team work! I had help this time. I love tug of war! I know I know....it really does not look fair!

Troubled times?

Kenny and I decided since money is always so tight we better start searching for ways to save money....this is what we came up with. We will sell our house and build one of these.

Tyler can play on top since he constantly climbs on anything tall. Kenny and I will stay inside and hold up the house and Zach can drive the car we will make out of sugar cubes. LOL j/k. This was the makings of our wonderful last day of vacation with daddy It was a blast and oh how creative we got with one box of sugar cubes, some disgusting gum drops a glue gun and a pencil.

Tyler's First Time Out.

I saw Shana do this on Sunday and thought wow, maybe I should try it. Tyler has a tendency to throw toys and today I decided it was time for him to take a little break. Kenny sat him down in the corner told him what was wrong and then told him to sit there. He sat there! We were both in shock because it never works with Zach but Tyler sat there and preceeded to smile at us for the full minute. Insane but funny. Sorry for the red eye, I couldn't get it out!

Sunday Stop to Smile

Kenny thought Tyler looked so cute for church on sunday and wanted a picture. However, we were unable to pry the boy's toothbrush out of his hands....oh well. It still turned out cute.

Great Family Photos

Jake was so great to take our family pictures and was so patient with our cute little crying child. We are very grateful to the Petersens for taking the time to spend with us and capture our lives through photography! They turned out great Jake! Thank you!

While we played Candyland and Trouble, Tyler opened the box to Go Fishing and started a game of his own.

This is my garden this year. It will probably be the last one I do in this house but it is turning out lovely! Im so excited. I have pumpkins, peas, and corn growing....not to mention green grass...whoo hooo. Zach and Tyler both helped me plant this year. Its been fun!

My Thankful Tree

Zach and I were bored today so we thought we would make a thankful tree. One thank you for each day before Thanksgiving. I was thinking we could pull a leaf and that day really think about why we are grateful for that! Korny I know but fun.

Where am I going to sleep?

I woke up last night to use the restroom/brush my teeth. I left the bed and it was just Kenny and I (although the picture is blurry) I came back to go to bed and found that we had more company. I guess it was my turn to sleep on the couch.

WOW did not know anyone could/would do this?????!!!

I was talking to a friend last night about Halloween costumes and I mentioned this dude in high school who had the best outfits. He said well, funny you should mention him because he carved you into a pumpkin when I was on my mission. Whaaa was my reply and then this was sent to me. Kenny and I are still laughing. We needed that laugh! At least Im sitting with great company!

Zach stats!

Zach is now my big four year old! His appointment went a little better than Tyler's but he did not pass his eye test so he gets to go to the eye doctor.....whoo hoo. We got a long month ahead of us! He is growing great though: Height: 43 3/4 inches tall 97% and weight 44 lbs. We sure love him!

Tyler Stats

Tyler had a doctors appointment that was painful for him this week. We went in for his 18 month appointment and had to get an x-ray fo his foot due to his fall last month. Instead, not only did we end up with the x-ray of his foot we also had to get a chest x-ray, and EKG, 3 shots and a TB test. I was mortified about how long I had to hold him down and how long he screamed. At least 1.5 hrs. Turns out he had to get a TB test because Kenny's test always ends up positive due to an exposure when he was a child and now all kids who have a close relative who has a positive TB test has to get one too. Pain in the butt. Then while checking him out the doctor discovers he has a heart murmur and so that is where the EKG and the chest x-ray come in. That was noooooo fun. X-ray did not make him too happy and just to be on the safe side he said he wants Tyler to go see a cardiologist! ERRRRRR. So that was so sad for me. He is so young and it could very well be nothing but there is always a mother's worry.

The state fair was fun this year! My parents were going to just take Zachary but we decided to tag along for the ride and boy am I glad we did. Thanks mom and dad!

Overall it was a great way to end a terrible week! Im so grateful for my parents coming up with the wonderful idea.

Gotta love my boy!

Zach has been an angel lately! So much different from the boy he was a month ago. He is so curious and always asking questions and is trying so hard to show his frustration in a great way. We had a blessing come into our lives. I had been praying and praying for help, because I knew that the Lord wanted me to do this nursing program and I just kept praying for guidance as to what to do with Zachary. He was struggling he hated his preschool and cried nonstop going there and when he left he said he never wanted to go back and it was just miserable. So he started acting out, doing things that sometimes I wondered if I needed to call in Supernanny! But instead I had this strong feeling I needed to call miss Kerry Parker. I was trying to reserve Zach's spot for next year because I heard she was amazing and it was just this peaceful feeling right when I talked to her. She insisted that I take him out right away and let him come learn with her. I gave my two weeks notice and Kerry has been helping us out by letting him join her for preschool two days a week and he just loves it! Its worth every penny and her boys treat him like a little brother! He loves it there. No fussing no teary goodbyes, he always knows I will be back and I know that he is safe. Worth every penny to let him stay with someone that I know loves him for who he is and She has truly been a blessing in our lives.
