The announcement

So Back in August we found out we were pregnant with Baby #3. Some people really hoped for us to have a girl. Well, here are the pictures of our newest little one....no profile this time around couldnt get a steady picture. These pictures always look alien to me but hey peek a boo is a fun game.

And the gender is....without a doubt.....

A boy! Hopefully he will forgive me for displaying his manhood on my blog! We are way super excited though!!!! I can't make hairbows but I can play football later with my boys.... I will take that any day.

More Week of Fun

I went to the library and got the Free City Pass to use one the days of Desert Botanical Garden's Pumpkin Festival. We went and had fun. We paid a few dollars to see the Monarch Butterfly Exhibit. Very Neat.

My Hubby's Week of Vacation

We decided we needed to do something cheap and fun. So on Wednesday we went on a hike, the boys choice and went to the zoo. At the Zoo we won a trip to Puerto Vallarta. Unfortunately, we don't have enough money to get there. But hey, 4 nights paid hotel was a pretty sweet idea.

Zach's 5th Birthday

Turning 5 for Zach was so much fun. We had an olympic birthday party in my in-laws backyard complete with fun, friends, and lots of food. Here are some pictures!

The chaos of opening presents with a ton of children around It was fun though and Zach was excited about all the cool gifts he got.

Then there was cake, he wanted a Spongebob one and for the first time I let him just pick one out even if I rarely ever let him watch the show.

This is how I have been Feelin' lately

1st soccer Game

Zach's first soccer game went off without a hitch. He rocked. He scored 3 goals! We were so excited.

Zachs 2nd game didn't go as well he only scored one goal because there was this awesome kid who always got the ball on the other team. It kinda sucked because my in-laws actually got to go to this game because they switch off between Zach' s and my neice' s game across the field. I wish they could have seen the awesome game the week before instead of the kind of sad game this week. BUT Zach is getting much better and truth be told it's worth it because he is having a blast!The snacks halfway and after are wonderful!! YummY

Swing Set Fun

So we got this swing set from our old bishop who was selling it on our ward Trading Post. We figured we will be here for a while and it would be great. So we got it before summer started and it was so stinkin' hot we didn't use it much. Now that it is starting to cool we are using it a ton now. We wanted to stain it so it would be weather proof. That was the project last week. It got half done. The boys worked hard.

First day of School

After much consideration, prayer, and thought we decided to wait a year before putting Zach into Kindergarten because he missed the deadline in age. He is so bright and his preschool teacher told me he was so ready but I kept looking towards high school and I wanted him to be older and more mature when he gets to tackle those challenges. Plus I really want to pick what school I put him in next year. He will definitely keep me on my toes this year his teacher said she was having him do first grade work. YIKES! The first day she gave everyone a packet full of edible rocks, a puzzle and a magic ball which he insisted we would go straight home and throw it in the tub. Here is his special magic trick. :-) IT was a towel how cool is that.

Bubble Gum

My mom got the kids a bubble gum dispenser at Chuck E cheese. Hmmm.... I had to hide it after a week. They still get some bubblegum but now they are not as obsessed. :-) I remember the 2nd day we had it, Tyler figured out how to take the top off and in the process the thing tipped over and gum balls went everywhere. Much to Tyler's delight, it was a free for all and his hands moved so fast shoving the pieces in his mouth before I could get to him. I wish I had a good picture of that. I hope my dentist doesn't see this. LOL. :-P

Bow our heads and cover our eyes? Hmmm someday he will figure it out....this was a whole week adventure.....I still don't know if he has figured it out....

Hiding Place

Tyler's favorite place to rest in is none other then....drum roll please my closet. Looks cozy huh?

Oh the Belly Button.........

My children are addicted to their belly button....when they are hurt finger goes in the belly button.....tired.... belly button....... drinking.....belly button....sleeping belly button..... They have been like this since they were born. Zach doesn't do it as much anymore. But when he sleeps he does. I guess it is better than thumb sucking....

SOCCER SEASON STARTS!!!!!!

I was so excited that soccer season finally was started. Zach has been wanting to play forever. He loves to kick the ball around.
