This was my yard Saturday night and Sunday Morning. Saturday was a crazy day and when we came home Kenny decided to dig up this hole that he noticed had excess water in it signifying a leak. As he was digging the groud was just so saturated. At that point in time I was calling my best bud, Felicia, back and told her about our little leak. Her husband jumped right on it and came over to help Kenny figure it out. After being here for an hour and digging he decided we all needed to eat and come back and figure the whole thing out. They took us to the most amazing place that dreams are made of and we had the best dinner followed by yummy ice-cream....you guys are the best! Anyway so back to my story, we get home at 9pm and the boys proceed to dig. And dig. I should have been studying but watching the men figure this mess out was much more interesting then drugs ( not taking them but studying them) so I went out to help. They had to dig up half the yard and I lost a Lantana in the process but they felt like they knew where the leak was so all was good. Except Home Depot was closed and we had no water and the next day was Sunday. Kenny and Adam both knew it had to be done and evidently many members of our church did too because on Sunday many people showed up or called to offer their help. With the expertise of Adam and Thad Kenny was able to fix the water by having to replace the whole line. Turns out our wonderful builder put in terrible piping that can have pin hole leaks in it after only a short period of time. THANKS DR HORTON HOMES!!! Anyway, our yard is back to normal, I can't figure out how to clean the street from all the dirt but the best part.....WE HAVE WATER AGAIN!!!! YAHHHHHH! Thank you so much for all who helped!Tuesday, February 26, 2008
